I marked the email as read but for some reason I didn't feel like opening the link. I thought to myself I will read it later and never got round to it.

Today I received an email from the friend notifying me that someone had hacked into his email and put a virus in his email which emailed everyone on his contact list. He hoped I hadn't opened the link. I told him I hadn't read it.
