Political Correctness - Revisited

I've been wondering whether there is a difference between the "German Shepherd" and "Alsatian" dog breeds as they look the same to me.

During my walk yesterday, I saw this man with two dogs that looked like "Alsatians" and I decided to ask him.

"Excuse me! Your dogs look like German Shepherds," I said. "Is there a difference between German Shepherds and Alsatians?"

"They're the same breed, it's just that some people think it's not politically correct to call them German Shepherd because of Germany and the war, so they call them Alsatians."

"Oh, I see. Thank you," I said. "I find them very friendly."

"Yes, they like being around people and kids."

My friend introduced me to the two dogs who were sisters. He said their father had injured his paw and was resting at home. While we were chatting I felt something up my backside which nearly made me jump. It was then I realised one of my doggie friends was giving me a once over. The man told her to leave me alone and she ran off to find something else to sniff at.

There's someone who doesn't give two hoots about political correctness. As far as the dog was concerned, my bottom was there to be sniffed and she went for it.
