It's funny how my thoughts keep getting mirrored back at me. Here's one example.
At one point yesterday, for no particular reason, I felt like saying: "Billions of blue blistering barnacles", which happens to be one way Captain Haddock, in the Tintin books, expresses himself when he's angry.
In today's Independent newspaper is an obituary which reads: Georges Wilson: Actor who played Captain Haddock and worked with Oliver Reed. Yes, it's the same Captain Haddock in the Tintin books.
All I can say is "billions of blue blistering barnacles!"
